Here's a new *educational* way to get rid of boredom. And I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this.

(Wait. If you're easily offended by expletives, you can skip this post.)

So I was bored almost the entire week. And you all know that since I've been bitching about it on Twitter and Facebook. I even reply to spammers on Twitter just for kicks.

Well I know a very awesome way to get out of boredom!!!

And I? Am so willing to share this to you!

You're welcome.

For the past few days, all social networking sites have been kinda boring to me. Don't get me wrong. It's the time zone shit. When I'm awake, you're all asleep.

So anyway, last night, I remembered something I used to do when I was working night shift. Playing with online dictionaries! So I looked up a few expletives and clicked on those little speaker buttons and it was awesome because it sounded like the Internet is cussing in different accents and voices and emotions and sometimes, it sounded very creepy.

EXAMPLES:

1. Motherfucker - This first one, for some reason, is only available in 2 accents; a female British voice and male American voice.

2. Asshole - This one is weird because they kinda said the word in such a jolly way. I mean, really?

3. Next one? Fuck. Everyone's favorite cuss word. And this one is available in three different accents! Exciting, I know!!!

But I think their example sentence was meant for me. It was written in such a way that I felt like I was being judged. I had to answer back.

4. Dammit - This one was creepy. Mostly because it was 3 A.M.

5. Dickhead - Now this? Is kinda funny. It sounded like Horatio. Just imagine him teaching you how to pronounce the word dickhead. Right?

6. Bitch - This last one is the best. Or the worst. Whatever. I mean, it still sounded like H but in a colder tone. He was probably annoyed. Or maybe tired.

Imagine? Horatio? Tired? Annoyed? And here I was thinking he only had one emotion and it was...

Okay. I don't know what it's called.

Inspiration for the Horatio drawing found here.

  4. I think I'm going to record a whole bunch of words from the free dictionary and then edit them together to make a voice greeting for someone. It will take a long time, but I have enough bored time to do it.

  12. OMG. I was totally like, "why the hell is the asshole guy so happy? And then I pictured my life as a dictionary word reader, saying words like "conundrum" and "aesthetic" and "duldrum" all day and I picture myself getting "asshole," and I imagined the joy on my face. And it all made sense.

    Until I realized they were all probably computer generated.

  14. @Ty: Aw. Thanks, Ty! And yes, we should look for every cuss word in thee dictionary. Just because! <3

    @Dude (or Max): Can I still call you Max? Your new name is too long! Haha. And I know how you feel. That's why I also have Tumblr!

    @Heather: It's hard to bear, is it? I think job is mostly to blame. I agree with you!

    @Jay: That's totally a great idea!!!

    @Kitkat: Love you too!!! And no one should ever disturb Horatio! You wouldn't want him angry.

    @Jeff: Thanks!!!

    @PG: I've tried it. Haha. It was definitely fun.

    @Ratzy: The online dictionary was kinda judgmental!

    @Wolfy: Yes. Definitely!!

    @Sey: Haha. I agree. We haven't booked a flight yet.

    @Jan: Dickhead is an awesome word when you're angry at a guy. It's a stronger version of jerk!! Hahaha.

    @Nicki: Hahaha. But it was a weird computer-generated, happy, asshole guy.

    @M: Thanks! And I'm glad you're back!!!

  16. Gnetchy, you say what everyone else doesn't dare to. Life's basically boring and we try to make our time pass with nonsense. And nobody's doing it so skillfully like you :P

  17. Looks like you cured your boredom! I like to use the free online translators and translate phrases back and forth. It's kind of like the telephone game... It's usually pretty funny what comes out at the end.

  18. On road trips, my husband and I will program destinations into our GPS and then save them as dirty sentences or something. The GPS voice is apparently a British woman, so you can imagine our delight when GPS told us, "Now arriving at 'my sweaty ball sack'"
